Mice and other rodents often enter towable RVs through frame openings around slide-out mechanisms, where they can damage wiring, insulation, and other critical components. RV Rodent Guard creates a removable magnetic physical barrier at this common entry point—no scent, poison, or electronics. It protects the frame opening where the slide-out mechanism operates, not the square slide support arms.
Shop Slide-Out Barrier
Open the guard and place it around the slide-out mechanism at the RV frame opening.
Test-fit the guard. Use the perforated trim areas or carefully notch it only if nearby hardware requires clearance.
Slide it against the RV frame. The integrated magnets hold the barrier securely in place.

I am very impressed with the way that this mouse guard was engineered. Once I started the installation it went fast. The only problem that I had was that the ram that operates the slide is so close to the gear frame that I had to notch the mouse guard a little.
Very easy to install, i had to trim a small area to make it fit. Snapped right on with no issues.

I noticed a lot of pressure against guard when my electric slides are all the way in, found I could not adjust for pressure against guard due to the cup on rod is the stopping adjustment on how far slides go in.
Went on easy, just had to break off portion to fit our size off shaft.

RV Rodent Guard is sold individually. Only one guard is needed per slide-out.
RV Rodent Guard fits hydraulic slide-out pushrods up to 3/4". For electric slide-out mechanisms, remove the perforated center section to fit mechanisms up to 2". Not sure about your setup? Send us a photo and we’ll help you identify the correct frame opening.
Most RVs equipped with hydraulic slide-outs have sufficient clearance for the guard to remain installed when the slide is retracted. However, clearance should be verified on your specific RV before permanent installation.
For RVs with electric slide-outs, the guard must be removed before retracting the slide. We recommend incorporating guard installation and removal into your normal campsite setup and departure routine for convenience and optimal protection.
